Thanes are very underpowered during this patch level and it seems silly to grant Mastery of Arms and not Mastery of Arts to this class. This class will basically be never played unless some love is given. I think this is a natural and needed fix for the class. If some things are not added, this will definitely be a ghost class on the server.
