no rps

I never usually post but I do not get the point of enemies not being worth rps when they come out of the gates, I know there is a timer but I don't know if there was a post I missed explaining the purpose? It is just a buzzkill when soloing someone out of the gate and sometimes adds kill me afterwards and it wasn't even worth it because I didn't get rps because they were recently killed and I didn't know beforehand or I wouldn't have bothered. if I understood the purpose maybe it be better but I cant find an explanation anywhere. to me if an enemy is ready to fight right out of the gate, they should be worth rps, idk if this is a big deal later on, and its not a deal-breaker for me or anything, just wondering...

It's to prevent griefing. Someone can sit at a portal keep and farm the same person over and over for no reason other than to ruin their day.

Granted, they don't need to go out into Frontiers continuously, but the RP delay is only 2.5 minutes (down from 5 minutes as of roughly a week ago)

It's not as if someone won't just continue killing them anyway... You don't even know whether they are worth RP's or not either.

And yes it does suck when you take a risk and get no reward for it.

I think it's really just a deterrent for PK-campers.

I like it, as the less PK-campers the better. It can be very frustrating (as a solo or smallman) to feel hopelessly boxed in.

A day or two ago in Cale, there was a 3 Scout / 2 Infil stealth group who made leaving the PK so frustrating that I simply logged for the night. Sure I could take the long way around, but then after a few deaths by a roaming duo (who seemed to be patrolling these alternate routes?) I just gave up.
