Hello!
The new teleport chains have changed RvR dynamics a lot and I think achieved the desired effect of moving all the action from Emain. Thanks very much for that!
There are a few issues this necessary improvement has created.
1. When selecting the portal stone the /rw map does not appear, so I have seen many questions as to how to use the new porting option. It would be great if like on Live targeting the portal stone opens the warmap automatically.
2. I find it confusing, after many years on Live, to use the /rw warmap to understand keep status and teleport locations and then to use the OF map to move around geographically. I understand that the old UI is hard-coded so we may be stuck with this for a while, but for new players it will be super confusing.
3. You said there were 2 chains per realm and provided a nice example for midgard:
Arvakr -> Glen -> Hlid -> (Nott) - > (Bledmeer) -> Crauchon | Crimthain | Eras | Beno
Fensalir -> Glen -> Blendrake -> (Nott) - > (Bledmeer) -> Crauchon | Crimthain | Eras | Beno
Rather than guessing, could you please just tell us what the Alb and Hib teleport chains are?
Thanks for all your fine work!
Stew
