Mastery of the Arcane - Phoenix Freeshard

Does mastery of the arcane only affect self cast stat buff spells, such as those that affect Str, con, dex, qui, acuity? Or does it also affect AF, Haste, damage add, etc.?

Also does it have any impact on potions or charge items?

I know it affects Caster/paladin AF buffs/self buffs. Also it affects buff potions/charges, as I tested that on my ranger in beta. Not sure about damage add, haste, (highly doubtful because these aren't player stats)

Interesting about it affecting AF buff. I wouldn't think that counted as a player stat either.

The other shard has a post asking about this. Haste, celerity, AF, ABS, resists are not affected by MoArcane.

Edit: resists are affected by MoArcane, you need quite a high investment into it though to see any increase.

E2: apparently AF is affected. Someone should test here to see if ABS buff is affected. Should be easy with the combat log actually showing the numbers behind the scenes here.

Are you sure on the buff potions and charges as I haven't seen that myself?

Yeah, i maximized my decterity on my ranger and full bow. It takes a lot to notice.. It caps at 30% now but only 15% in beta.. Gotta weigh to gain vs aug stat ra to see which is more worth IMO

I don't think it works on dmg shield or damage add.. But it will work on pet stat buffs from enhancement
