How many mastery of arcane must i skill for yellow cap buffs on shaman?

I cannot help with yellow buffs but I tested this on red shaman buffs and MOA3 will cap red buffs. I didn’t know this and after talking to another buffer I respected from MOA 4 to 3. MOA 3 was same as MOA4. Sorry I can’t help with your original question but this info might help?

What is the buff cap for base and specc buffs?
50 Base and 90 Specc buffs?

I think it's 62 for bases and 93 for specs. I'd be interested in knowing how much MoA is needed just to cap bases when you do your testing.

Math!

Str 44 delve = 55 actual * 1.16 (MoA 6) = 63
Con 47 delve = 59 actual * 1.09 (MoA 4) = 63
Dex 48 delve = 60 actual * 1.06 (MoA 3) = 63
Str/Con 57 delve = 86 actual * 1.09 (MoA 4) = 92
Dex/Qui 58 delve = 87 actual * 1.06 (MoA 3) = 92

**All numbers assuming live values of combined specialization and +skill equaling the level of delved spell plus one.

EDIT:
I think I got my caps wrong, it might be 62 and 93. Either way, this gives you an approximate idea, and I'm too lazy to go back and edit it.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how spec and +skill affected the actual value and I already had MoA 2 so I couldn't tell what the actual value of my buffs were without it. I wanted to make sure I needed it to cap base dex.

So a shaman would cap his yellow spec buffs with master of arcane 6. Ist that correct?
