Mac Crossover Workaround?

Any way to make the phoenix.exe work on a Mac using the Crossover Application? I can get the Dark Age of Camelot.app to work through Crossover, but for some reason it gives me a 255 error when I try to launch the Phoenix.exe through Crossover. Thank you!

I just use VMFusion and unity. so far no problem but if you find a solution to cross over please post it back here I'd love to know.

Easier to set up bootcamp and use win10, daoc runs flawlessly in that setup

I used to play it on OSX with just plain Wine. No hacks or anything needed iirc.

However, the feel isn't quite right. Mouse acceleration is different from windows which results in unusually fast camera movements and the like. Also, rendering time goes up quite a bit which makes the game stutter on epic raids or even in capitals. But that might just be my MacBook (using integrated graphics).

So I ended up using Bootcamp for RvR/Raids and Wine for everything boring.
