last charge of potions, icons in qbar

i remember on other servers i used always the lowest potion in my inventory and when i used them, the game started to use the top of your inventory and go down, consuming the first potion of that kind that it finds. This way, the potion stays on your quick bar until it is finally consumed and you have no more of those potions in your inventory.

is there an other mechanic here?
