hi, just asking. Want to play a warrior with high block chance but capping it would make it senseless

Believe its 60% for rvr block cap and dual wielders will reduce that with 25% .

I see block cap > 60 all the time in my combat output. I'll try to capture a screen shot next time.
Maybe there is a bonus against arrows...
Most shield users can't even be shot in the shield arc. More often than not the arrow is blocked...then if they are smart enough, they engage...
I just avoid them unless right behind.

Nah. 50% should be cap for a block on this server.

That sounds like engage or against arrows - should be either 50% or 60% melee block cap in RvR afaik, but ya 25% penalty when attacked by a dual wielder.

I've meet plenty with higher than 50-60% chance.. highest I've meet assuming he used Engage but was 99.0x%.. Impossible to shoot...

Yea, I've seen both 99% and 62% on the same target..(99 then 62) I figured he engaged me with the 1st shot then just had a base 62% block chance..at least vs arrows.
I believe this was a scout...
Very often I see 60% + vs arrows. Even on the 1st shot if I make the mistake of attacking from from stealth at the front or side. I don't think it could be engage.

The cap is 75 with engage ignoring the cap / being allowed to go to 99%
