I don't think people in game would be receptive to the polls and would probably /ignore the channel when possible. Thus the results of the poll would not be very representative. What types of polls are you wanting to ask in game?

Question: Are you in Hadrian's Wall now forming up for the relic raid?

they would probably draw more attention compared to polls only on the forum, i don't know how feasible implementing it is though

back in the day of europe live daoc there were polls that appeared in a window while to wanted to log in and you had to choose to continue... that'll maybe be an option^^ (not sure if that would mean alot of coding but i think it is possible)

That s precisely my point.

Admin did create a pol section on the forum but i think it would be better to do them in game cause the forum population is absolutely not representative of the player base Imo.
