Insane ban rates the last few weeks

Is it just me or do i feel pop drops from day to day?
Was checking out the ban section and seeing how many people getting perma banned the last days.
I mean why is it getting so much out of hand with these bans lately? 14days ban and delete without a warning (never done anything wrong before for example).
perma banning people from the server for creating a new account?! why not just delete the new one and add a week to the time banned account so that they have to think about what they've done...
It will definitely kill the community over time and sadly i dont think this server wont survive if this will continue.
Its no offense to anyone but i feel like it must be said or ask.

No it was always like this.
And man thanks god they are keeping cheaters and people abusing the game away. The server would be dead already if they would not do that.
They are perma ban because they created a new account DURING a 3/7/14 days ban... It's against the ToS...
You have a warning for AFK farming (without macro) before deletion, they just don't post it...

The problem is the GMs do that on their free time, they can't spend the whole day enforcing rules again and again.

yes, the bans are over the top, but, it's their server/their rules. People with multiple accounts in the same house are getting banned, due to the rule changes. The account sharing ban, didn't affect the people it was designed to address. They just rerolled characters, leveled and temped in 2 days, and got bored after a few weeks because of the reduction in players who didn't have that luxury. Now we're left with social bg's, and a few elite 8's per realm. But, at least you can't log in to my account from your computer (without me getting banned)...I'm not sure what that accomplished, but it is definitely the rule, and is enforced to ban the player base everyday.

Keeping on topic with this forum category, I'll ask the team, will the restriction on logging in multiple accounts on the same computer (1 at a time and respecting realm timer guidelines), be changed any time soon?

We had a threat about this topic before.

Imo the staff has to seriously consider softening ban practice vs no-victim offenses and minor offenses.

Noone wants cheaters, but if someone shared an account without RP-farming, give him a warning message, then a 1 day, then a 3 day ban lol.

If someone wants to skip crafting time and uses a forbidden macro, same story. (Even tho the server already makes it so easy so cmon guys) etc.

If someone seriously cheats, harming other players playing expeirence i'm all in favor of the iron gauntlet.

(note: i never offended against a server rules and never got punished [excluding advice chat offtopic

Why do you need to share your toons? If I want to play a toon, I roll one, why is it so difficult to do? Yeah you are not 11L with all of them, but I thought the people who did that were looking for challenges! Was I lied to?
And which luxury do you speak about? Do you need 50 toons to have fun? I have 2 stealthers (solo leveling) fully temped weaponless (8L7 and 9L9 all solo), one animist, one mentalist, one VW and one bard. I am working 9-18h and I have a son. Who are those people who don't have time?

Like they said, people sharing account made difficult to enforce the rules. A guy cheated and it was hard to know who did it. Again they have limited time to manage this server. Because you know they have a life too.
