If you get banned, you're gone from Phoenix for good.

So, I wanted to completely understand the Terms of Service and RUles and such because it's good to know what you're allowed to do and what is expected of you when you play on a server. I came across this:

1.3 If you are banned, it is not permitted to get back to the Phoenix network on an alternate account.

I've never been a rule breaker, so I am not concerned about me personally. But I wanted to confirm with the staff, in a public manner, that my interpretation of this rule is correct.

As I understand it, it means that if you are banned, you are not allowed to access the Phoenix network (that means the game or the forums or anything else) on another account. This also indicates that if you are banned, then create a new account and are discovered to be a banned player, your new account would also be banned.

Confirmed?

I would think they mean the game service, the forums would be allowed to appeal the ban.

There are also multiple levels of ban such as 1 day or 5 days or permanent and would depend upon the severity.

What they are saying is that using an alternate account to circumvent the ban would lead to a harsher punishment.

Very good point. I did not even consider different punishments. IN my mind, Banned = Perm. Suspension is used if it's only temporary.

Creating another account to circumvent the ban is obviously for all kind of bans, temp or permanent.

then i have another question, what about account sharing?

my brother is playing too, but he´s living alone in another location etc.
can i log his account or can he log my acc to play?

1.2.1 Sharing accounts is NOT strictly prohibited but is done so at the user's own risk. The problem with sharing accounts is that it makes it almost impossible to determine who is playing the account, and thus both players (and both their accounts) become responsible for any misconduct on either account. Be safe and just don’t do it.

Essentially if you share your account, you are liable for anything that player does on that account including bannable offenses. For example If we find a player has been cheating and has cheated on your account, your account will be banned.
