Why can't we go live today? Things are running great, and we are all excited to get started!

Can we go live this weekend? Maybe put it up for community vote?

Because the launch date has been announced for months and you don't just change that for no reason? You're also assuming no issues were found by the dev team during this stress test. The week of closed server between stress test and launch is there to have time to fix those issues.

There are people who took specific days off because of this, it would be very unfair to change anything last minute
