Feather Items and Account vs Character Credit

Just curious... I have been on raids now that have given feathers. Have enough to get a Dragon sword for instance. The character I used and use for Feather runs is a Thurgist, also killed the Alb Dragon on that character.

My question is, can the Thurgist Buy the Dragon Sword and then give it to my Armsman via account vault to use, even though the Armsman has not yet killed the Dragon... Are the credits for boss mobs ( i.e. Sidi ) Account or Character linked...

If this has already been answered before, please link a thread as I was not able to reasonably find information on this...

The unlocks should be accountwide, so your armsman should even be able to buy the items himself

I have run Galla 21 times with my Druid and used the feathers to purchase Galla Hauberks for my Chanter and Ment which have NEVER gone on a Galla raid. I killed the Dragon 1 time with my Druid and bought the Dragon staff for each of my casters as well.

Yes - the credit is account wide. You can xfer feathers and buy it with your alt that needs the drop or buy it with your main and xfer the item to your alt.

Is there anyway to tell which items you have kill credit for? Is there a /slash command or something?

Asking about the last question?

Does any one know how to check which boss you have killed and the items they link too?

Don’t want to buy an item to find out I can’t usw it yet!

You can do /title and it will tell you how many boss, dragon, and legion kills you have, though not exactly which bosses or dragons.

The only sure-fire way to know if you have credit or not is to try and purchase the item you want: if you can, you have credit. Also, don't worry about not being able to use an item: the *use* of an item is not tied to credit at all. Even if you don't have purchase credit, someone else with credit can buy you the item and you can use it (subject to class and level restrictions (for procs), of course!)

So if I attempt to purchase said item does it give you a sure warning? And is that confirmation to say you have credit for it?

If it doesn’t and I buy it I best be sure I need it 😂

Yes, be sure you need it. The only confirmation that appears (IIRC) is if the item you are buying is not one that you can use due to a class-restriction. i.e. If as a cleric you are buying a full-plate chest piece, it will say something like, "you aren't able to use this, are you sure you want to buy it?". Even this is ok if you are buying the item for an alt or another character that can use it, though.

General rule: be careful with your purchases as you won't get a refund if you make a mistake!

Follow up question. If I kill Legion on a Mid character would any characters I have on Alb or Hib have credit from that?

Yes. Credit for RvR zone mobs applies to your characters on all realms.

Note, someone reported in another thread that they deleted all their albs (which got the kills) and the credit for RvR mobs went away on their mids.
