Envenom mechanics

Hello,
Was just wondering if Envenom was any different from other servers.
Specifically,
If I was level 50, and had say 40 envenom trained. If I equipped a +10 item and attached a 50 poison (40+10), and then switched back to a non-envenom item in that slot (now 40+0). Will the 50 poison still proc? Or will it be disabled?

Ya i just tested your scenario and lifebane still procced.
