I realize the staff can handle things but as a community we like to donate 
plus it can go for better equipment if needed. Free shards are great but a free shart is not lol

Think there's a lot of legal implications to worry about once you start accepting money in any capacity. I'm sure they would like to just make sure it's nothing that will hurt them or the server in the end.
