Can you please share your thoughts on where the game is going in the future ? What are your top priorities ? Some general idea of your target quarter to have the new features implemented ? Thanks.
Schaf can probably give you a more technical answer (tldr: better stability), but from a world build perspective, the main goal will be to polish what is already in the game. I think, for the most part, things are fairly solid. But we do get the occasional bug report about missing items, or missing mobs. That sort of stuff. We are also monitoring things like dungeon encounters (Tuscar, Galladoria, Sidi, etc) to make sure these work as intended (see most recent patch note). We did a bunch of testing on this during beta, but we frankly never had 300 people trying to do e.g. TG; so we are now seeing some stuff that just wasn't obvious before.
On the RvR side, as people have rightly pointed out, there are certainly some things that need tweaking - like the relic system, or possibly the RvR tasks (new tasks, modifying existing ones, based on feedback).
If you are asking whether Phoenix intends to "progress" the server, as in advancing the target patch level to eventually include other expansions (Catacombs, Labyrinth), I don't think we can say at this point. And that is not so much an issue of backend tooling (it would probably be fairly easy, actually), but more of a philosophical one. I think we are happy with our current setting and will, for the moment, focus on making it as robust as possible.
I guess at some point new content would be the right step, even the best implementation of existing stuff gets boring eventually. I know the community is very split on ToA and Catacombs, but even though I never played beyond 1.65 Im sure there are elements in both expansion that people will like. Or at least have a basis to be tuned and made more enjoyable for most of the community. But yeah, thats a topic for the future. Stability and finetuning existing content is most important now.
