Hello! I am brand new to Phoenix and haven't played daoc since I was a kid. I have only a level 5 cabalist atm and wanted to try other realm classes etc because I love the setting so much.

So I wanted to ask about crossrealming and are low level alts allowed or what exactly the rules are. I assume it is to do with RVR stuff?

if you have not logged in to the game (or created new characters...as that also resets the timer) for 12hours you will get the realm-choice option when logging in. If that happens you can chose any realm and play there without breaking the rules

If you want to switch the realm without waiting the 12 hours, there is also an option for that, but it requires you to delete all chars on your current realm...so that most of the time isn't a good option

FYI.
Two computers in same household(or 1 with two accounts)
Breaking the 12 hour rule will get you suspended

So, as long as you only have one account it will not be possible for you to break the cross realming login rule. The game will handle when you are allowed to go to another realm.
