Character creation?

First off I want to say I am super excited to play DAOC again. But yesterday when I made my account I tried to create a character and every time I go to finish it, it doesn't save? It just goes back to an empty character screen? Was just wondering If I was doing something wrong or if its closed off for new character creation this close to launch? Was just wondering, any help would be awesome thanks!

Hi Davty and welcome to Phoenix!
Which character type are you trying to create? Most creation fails are because you are selecting an illegal character class (warlock, valkyrie, etc.) or an illegal race (Minotaur), or an illegal combination (celt nightshade) for the 1.65 ruleset that Phoenix runs. To test, try creating just a bog-standard character (e.g. briton armsman, troll warrior, celt hero) and see if that works.

Tried that with a Heretic. Went back to the char selection without saving --> roumuls is propably right here...

Yep 100% right rolled a Troll Skald and it worked just fine. Thanks guys!
