Changed my Name

I was playing a character that I created and named after an old character that I played on the DAoC server. His name was Klokwerk. It is my understanding that my name was changed because one of the Dev team has a similar name. I understand that you do not want impersonators, however, I feel that renaming my character without asking if I had a preference for a name before assigning me one is punishing me even though I didn't break the rules. Is there anything that I can do to to change his name? Not a huge fan of Hippomenes.
