Hey there.
I do not know if it is intended or not, which is why I am raising the question here, but here goes:
Caster pets ( lets take the Underhill Companion in this example) starts to cast on a target running away. It will start casting as soon as it enters max range of the target you order it to attack, but if the target runs away, the spell will fail, and the pet will continue chasing. Assuming you have better speed than the target you are chasing, the same thing will happend over and over once your pet gets within range. It will start casting, but not finish due to target running out of range before the spell finishes.
the question is: are pet spellchecks supposed to be done before or after casts?
I can see arguements for both. If spellchecks are done when the cast begins, it "could" maybe leads to people getting unstealthed if stealthed after the check is performed, and (in its current state) you have pets chasing/casting infinatly trying to get within range of a target moving away.
been many many years since I played live, so I dont remember which is the "right" way.
something seems slightly wonky currently though.
thanks in advance
