Can I play my current PC’s account on a virtual machine, as well?

Hello -

I was wondering if anyone can verify if the following is allowed:

I’m doing a free trial for a gaming virtual machine service next weekend, called Shadow, and was wondering if it’s okay to use the same account I play with on my home PC. I’m not really sure how it all works per PC and per ISP, etc. I just want to make sure that logging in to my account from the virtual machine, even though I would be using the same internet I use for my home PC and account currently.

Thank you in advance.

You can use your account on any computer you want; no limits on that end.

Just checking to see if this is a contradiction.

1 account, 1 pc?

If there are 3 players in a household who all have accounts and who play on potentially each (3) machines, will your system show a false positive for multi accounts?

1 computer = 1 account (creation)
But that account can be used on an infinite amount of computers, including the allowed account sharing.

A household with 3 computers can use their 3 accounts on either of their computers, but to avoid... questionable behavior there should stay separated.
They also can use accounts from other players on their computers, however those actions (account sharing / using computers from other players) are effectively linking those to each other.

That link might come as boomerang in the long run because we're looking at 'linked accounts' too.
Thus any of those linked accounts might reveal historical violations (especially those circumventing the realm timer) and partially or fully share the fate of the originally reviewed account.
