Buffbots - idealized memories?

Hello,

i have a rather stupdi question, maybe... but, what was bad about buffbots?

ok, you need to have a second account, and i really disliked to pay for the second account, just to have buffs. But, what was bad about them other than that? i really dont remember to have problems finding groups in much of a difference to here on phoenix.

It was an unfair advantage for the haves compared to the have nots that didn't want to pay for a second account.

It's odd that they don't allow them on this server then put the range limits on conc buffs. I don't know why both rules are in effect on this server. Seems like overkill.

That being said, people that can afford charge items/buff potions are no different than those that used to have buff bots. The problem still exists, it's just got a different face.

Either give everyone permanent conc buffs, or get rid of pots/charges if you don't like the idea of buff bots

I think buffbots are worse than just giving everyone an infinite buff charge off bind stone... Buff bots can also double as DI bots and rezz bots in keep fights...
