Autotrain

Just to clarify (as others might have the same question and I didn't find a thread covering this...):
Autotrain works like in 1.87 (as the phoenix wiki says) means that you get the points in an autotrain line even if you already put in more points than you'd be autotrained to. Right?

So as an example: A reaver is lvl 7 and has 7 points in flex, then dings lvl 8 and gets 18 Points (2*8 for the normal lvl-up + 2 for the autotrain to 2 that would have happened had he not specced flex before).

Correct? If not: What does "Autotrain works like in 1.87 " mean?

You never "get" the points. What happens is the points already spent become free.

For example, if you /level 50 and you have one autotrained skill, you don't get your points + 77. Instead, you get your point, but the first 12 levels of the autotrained skill costs zero spec points.

If points you've already spent become free, those are refunded. In your example, you would get 2*8 + 2 refunded points. But if you hadn't already put points into flex, you'd get 2*8 points only, and if you spec'd flex at that point, the first level would be free.

Sometimes the display is a little slow to update, and you might need to close and reopen the trainer window.

That's what I meant. No cost for training an autotrain line up to lvl 12 with a lvl 48 char but no bonus on non-autotrain-lines.

E.g.:
Only a paladin putting points into slash and chants >skill Level 12 get's a 154 point advantage while a reaver who goes flex/shield/soul only gets to use 77 points (as flex is an autotrain line) while he could put up to 12 points into slash (once he's lvl 48+) without having to spend actual points there...
