Do you plan on adding a de-padding merchant? Because crafted armor looks like potato with auto full padding. Just curious lol.

Would be nice also in this case add shoulder pad merchant who will add-padding to your chest/gloves/boots.
So suggestion is:
Add npc who will be able to add and remove armor padding.

THink here Uthgard did a great job. Crafted items are always unpadded. Offer the possibility to add pads via NPC. This is also a wonderful gold sink.

They will most likely become the unpadded variant at some point, it's just a lot of work that's rather low priority currently.

This is already possible, but the padding is free so there is no gold sink. They can be found in all of the major cities (Jordheim, Camelot, and Tir Na Nog)
