I'm tired of trying to make my point on the planned change topic so i will try here instead.
With ranger being top class for the past week in /serverinfo, i'm feeling to ask the team : Why this much love for it ?
Easy answer :
Top archer by far. Best self buff, best racial, best melee weapon and melee spec, moded dual wield. Everything has been done to make him by far the viable/playable archer since all archery spec are the same (except the bow speed you can find on each realm). So why that moove ? Hib is already dominating everything for the past month and you don't see how bad the archery change was for the health of this serv : it's only due to a the lack of balance between classes...
So now that everyone is crying, you feel the urge to listen to those cries and make some weird moove like : 2 nerf in less than a week, even if it's a small one each time, and more will come for sure. Let's be honest, it's not the end of that story lol.
So why don't you decide to allow the three classes to get the same self buff and up B.C to charm 50 pet level and give them insta pet buff ? Cause you nerf archery damage but the three classes can't have the same buff. So everytime you going to nerf it, since the three realms doesn't have the same damage table cause of bow speed and self buff. Hunters and Scoots are the most affected by those changes... Why ? Why do you need to do that since ranger are the problem here ? It's too OP and not balance AT ALL. They are the one that got insane damage with full bow spec cause of self buff and add damage...
Scoot got shield but 0 melee damage.
Hunter got 2H + pet but lack of QOL change.
Ranger got moded dual wield and strong blades spec / proc weapons that make them super strong even in melee.
Each one has is speciality. Since archery skill is the same for all the three classes : buff should be the same, rog bow should be the same too. Allow 5.5 on each realms.
Put every class on the same damage table, before nerfing everyone... We are not on the same ground here. Try to understand that fact for god sake. Hunter got 5.2 max (5.3 ? If someone can give me the lowest speed on mid) and scoot can't get self buff so impossible to get the same archery speed / damage than others... Why's that ? We need balance here ! Instead we are rushing to a one side pop...
So it's easy... Give archery spec self buff in it.
Allow hunter to get new B.C charm and insta buff for pet. (Qol change)
And after that, nerf damage when all three classes have the same weapon and same damage possibility.
I rest my case, take it or throw it.
