So why is it that a SB or NS can use Vanish even when barely alive and you never can find them again, but if an Inf uses it regardless of health left and they are instantly popped in less than 2 or 3 steps taken away? Seems that every time you do something to "fix" stealth, it just gets worse for albs. Perhaps something needs to be done to normalize the way vanish behaves across all 3 realms.

There's no difference between how Vanish behaves across all 3 realms, the only difference is your targets know how to sidestep when they Vanish at low hp whereas you just probably walk straight which makes you visible once it fades off. If you find an inf chances are there’s 2 scouts 3 minstrels and a couple more infs. 😂

Vanish works on all 3 realms the same so there is no "Alb penalty".
And about the behaviour there is to less info. How are you walking in vanish? Try not to walk straight with w, use the q or e side walking. The side walking also adds to your walking speed if you are low health, which means you can escape better. With q/e + w you can walk diagonal and not straight left or right, so you have way more options.
As for enemies, get some stealth lore pots which adds an additional 250 stealth detection bonus, so basically the enemy stealther will glow like a firefly.

I would expect people who know better to move away from a dumb statement like that and leave a short phrase explaining things, but we can't all have what we expect can we.
