8vs8 cleanfight vs 1vs1 cleanfight

I've been thinking this for a while but now i feel like mentioning it.

Phoenix always said they werent against solo fights, but every change they made did make me not want to believe that quote.

Untill the pvp zone came, which i found nice, but i also understand gm's their reasoning.

But now explain me something

when u kill a solo guy as a 8man, u get 200-250 RPS, which means that guy was worth 2k realmpoints
when i solo kill a guy i get 970 rps

Maybe i was lucky with the tower or keepbonus that time, but the math doesnt seem right for me?

Also tell me why is it possible to claim a clean 8vs8 fight , to award that fight with 1k rps/player
Why is that change made? And why not give a clean 1vs1 fight a possibility to reward 125 rps?

Do u think 1vs1 players would risk a ban to abuse a 125 RP reward?

I'm not saying my suggestion should be implemented, i just need a reason to believe devs have nothing against solo players , cause as i see it now , taskfarming with smallman/fg to annoy solo ppl is much more rewarding and i dont understand the reasoning of that

solo people don't need incentives. Usually, it's bad players who don't solo because they are not able to kill anything by themselves.
I don't think you can fix that with incentives.

My suggestion: if you have 8v8 fairfight toggled to get those sweet extra RPs, you LOSE RPs when you kill anyone that is not in a full group. It's only fair and maybe would force 8mans into the playstyle they tell everyone that they follow but actually don't.

/gvg toggle exists for a reason.

The main reason is to make 8men able to find one another AWAY from the main action zones.

But to encourage players to get on such a list you need to offer rewards. Also the 1k /gvg cleanfight RPs helps low rr groups to get something out of getting smashed over and over by experienced high rr groups in the most competitive part of the community (8v8).

For solo or smallmen the same reasons apply.

1) find one another away from over crowded zones of action

The only problem here is for non speed6 smallmen and solos - they have to avoid groups, so they have to mostly hide, so to find one another they need a more precise location display on the /fair list than 8men.

2) encourage to get on the list by rewards + catch up for lower RRs

smallman-fairfighters need a reward similar to gvg-cleanfighters, imo

the list is currently empty most of the time, and when there are multiple groups usually one is stronger than the other and its onesided farming and the losing group stops because they are literally getting no rewards at all

For me the point is not that i want a reward, i just dont understand the reasoning behind the /gvg command , the PVE keeptake reward bonus and the flag farming

And not because it shouldn't exist, cause i like the idea to promote 8vs8 playstyle, i like zergfights, i personally dont like smallman too much but i also believe its nice it exists

At the moment the system just is

Keepfighting gets rewarded (zerges) so is encouraged
8vs8 gets reward so is encourages
smallmen just camping flags and rolling over solos gets encouraged

where the solo people just get rolled over by everything , also by the same 8men that claims 8vs8 fights shouldn't be added on
There is 8man that leave alone soloers, but its very very rare, but thats another discussion

8v8 /gvg should be banned in task areas. Nothing worse than a "fair fight" right next to the task flag.. its a cancer to rvr. No one knows which targets to hit. You think you're helping your "realm" for "realm vs realm" but thats not the case. Make EV an 8 man zone. This game isn't based on 8v8. Its based on rvr.

You are right, task zones are no /gvg zones. But every group motivated to do real 8v8 will avoid those zones for that reason.

The latest trend is more and more non-/gvg-8men tho, that don't play fair and roll over/add everything.

Yeah it's what our pug is doing since the start and we got a lot of hate from the 8vs8 community. We are not the best, but at least we don't yell and disengage because a scout adds us.
I would like my group to respect more solo fights but they don't really care sadly. But at least there is no hypocrisy.
