12 Hour to Switch Realm

I give it a try on hibernia and i'm waiting for the 12hours timer to come back to my main realm. Is there any way to check how much time i need to wait more to login ... and if i attempt to login just on character screen without gettin into the game - to check if 12hours already gone - am i resetting the timer? [i really hope not

afaik you cannot check on the current state of the timer
but you can log in to char select without resetting the timer, if you get to realm select, voila timers up, if you don't log out again.

DO NOT CREATE A CHARACTER (that also resets the timer)

and i guess it should be clear, but for copmletion: do not log in to the game on any character

That's good timer didnt reset ... i guess i just need to wait a bit more!

I find that it is not EXACTLY 12 hours. Sometimes it can be 15-30 minutes longer.

Best thing to do is, if you're planning on changing realms, log out early the night before - get a full 8 hours of sleep, Make breakfast, do some laundry (or your standard 8 hour work shift), do some chores, come back in 4+ hours and you should be set.

I just set a timer to it on my phone. Set it to 12 hours 30 minutes to be safe.
