When DoTs were changed to only place the player in combat on the first tick, it also only flags the mob as in combat on the first tick. This means that mobs can actually begin walking back to camp while still taking dot damage. It breaks dot kiting and its absolutely unintended behavior. The mob's return timer isn't supposed to start until after the last tick of damage.
