Spell resisted spam from dead group members

Whenever a group member dies our enchanter receives a continuous string of " is dead!" while having underhill ally pet up.
If the ally pet is released, the spam stops. This seems to indicate that ally pet (and others?) is trying to heal or buff the dead group member.
