I searched the open issues for "sit" and for "sit + stand", and amazingly did not see anything about this bug. Many times (overall, I would say at least half the time) that I sit down, I stand up again immediately. I have had to do as many as 4 "sit-downs" in a row to overcome this !! This also happens on "/q"....I type it and maybe do a bio while logging off, only to come back and find my toon standing there.

My mentalist was trying to sit between casts while grouped the other day and the only way to avoid standing up again was to strafe left or right before attempting to sit.

Oh yeah... Thanks so much for creating this issue, it's a real pain in deed. Wanted to report this bug many times, but always busy doing something else and ... forget.

Confirmed. Has not been an issue for me for more than a few seconds at a time but it does happen quite often.
