Passive pets aggro is transfered to caster when they die, even if they did nothing

Before, you could put your pet on passive and if it got aggro (for running too close to a mobs), you could release it and the mobs would leave you alone. Now the aggro is transfered to the caster upon death of the pet(s) even though they did no dmg to said mobs.

Pretty easy to test, summon pet, put it on passive, send it to an aggro mobs, release it and the mobs will aggro the caster even if the caster is not close to his pets.

This is as it should be, as far as I know. Having a pet should not grant you free passage through aggro. If your pet gets aggro, when it loses that aggro, it's yours.

It wasn't on any version of Daoc i've played throughout the years, even other freeshard servers.

This was as described earlier in beta but was changed. As mentioned on other free shards, pet on passive did not transfer aggro.
