Nocturnal Strike animation graphic effect not working properly on Night Shade

Hib Night shades can cast the spell and the character moves to cast. The spell lands but the graphic effect of the spell actual landing,the splash of the spell hitting is very very muted.Looks like it is not hitting at all. This is on the level 28 Nocturnal Strike.

Could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing? I've tried it in game and the spell effect looks normal to me.
