Currently only one summoned NPC can be assigned to each spell. Need to develop a way to assign multiple summonable NPCs for a spell, or just create unique spells for each pet type and allow the player to choose their pet.

Can you change the pet to lynx matriarch? the tree were changed few patches after 1.65 for LOS problems
