Firstly, I'm 46 Spirit spec and 28 Matter. With a fully buffed pet including the run speed increase I noticed whilst en-route to the Alb dragon, I set my pet to attack some grey adds at the back of the group. Once my pet had been ordered to return back to me and follow (whilst out of combat) it was only running at normal speed however, if I ordered my pet to attack some targets ahead of me it then would gain speed again. I also noticed it wasn't gaining any speed from the minstrel song.
