Tried several pets in alb frontier zone, they can't keep up with their owner on hastener speed. This is a pretty big problem as you have to run around without speed if you want to have a pet. Not sure if this is only with hastener or with all types of speed. Tried with templar, pictish druid, pictish warrior, etc. Probably applies to all pets.
they gain hastener speed if u click hastener when they are near. not practical tho if you are picking up a pet in the frontier zone on your way somewhere.
edit: used a fear dearc and at first he was not gaining any speed, but i ran really far away from him til he lost the charm. i recharmed and he got speed.
