Melee attacks not possible (Animist Shroom placement)

Hello,

we were farming the rocots in hib DF. i was not able to melee attack any mobs. the message i got was "the target is to far away".

this continued for quite some time, then the Animist in the grp moved the shroom (War Messenger). after that, i could melee attack again.
