Damage shields and melee reactive procs hit at range (against any ranged weapon). This is incorrect behavior. These should only hit an attacker in swing melee range, not at 1500 units away.
This mechanic can be exploited against things like keep lords and mobs...as well as putting ranged attackers at a disadvantage.
I notice the interrupt portion was fixed, which is nice, but the correct fix is to put a melee range component in on armor procs and dmg shield so they only hit attackers within weapon swing radius. It should be the same check to see if an attacker trying to hit a target with a melee weapon is close enough to land a blow.
