The issue is as follows: I am a legendary grandmaster armorer in Hib. Crafting skills above 1000 i gained mainly through an MP Contract for Reinforced armor. The Problem: For Scale Hauberks you need Metalworking Skill of 1055, but you do not gain this through crafting reinforced armor. Additionally arcanite Laterns with skill 975 are the highest Metalworking item which leads to a maximum metalworking Skill of 1025.
The Problem: I lack 10 Points in Metalworking to craft Hauberks, but pretty much everything other than hauberks is grey (arms green, but impossible to skill through that without about 20 platin) and thus i can gain no more skillpoints in metalworking, effectively locking my char out of the ability to create scale hauberks alltogether. I doubt that this is working as intended.
Suggestion: Either lower the requirement to be no higher than 1025 for such items or allow gaining Metalworking skill through crafting reinforced armor (i think it is like that in midgard at least, if my memory does not betray me here).
