Captian Falron is not giving xp for completed steps in Ogre quest

I received the quest from Captian Falron that makes you kill 10 ogres at the camp. I killed the 10+ ogres and before I went to complete the quest by talking to Caption Falron I turned in my eggs to a trainer and gained a level. After gaining the level I went to the npc and all he does is reply saying "fantastic work mexicano! I don't know where my manpower went or If I had any at all". So basically my quest is stuck and I cannot receive xp for it.

You need to delete the quest and repeat it - or you were a level to high when you turned it in
