Bone Patcher Casting Loop

At around 6:25pm CST in DF, my BonePatcher subpet was caught in a casting loop. I dismissed and resummoned to the same effect twice. I don't know if he's trying to cast over a buff but it looks like hes repeatedly casting on himself. He then does not attack if I tell him to attack a mob. When I put him on passive he does nothing and stands still
