Block chance against bow attacks

My bm with 42 + 17 shield, have yet to block a shot from a scout or hunter.

From my time back on live during 1.65 shield seemed to be a lot more effektive against shots, is this they way its meant to be here or something needs a little look at ?

Block is preaty decent, try use maybe engage ability then ?

Well not necessary back in 1.65, just wanted to know if this is how its intended ?

Block was quite effective again archers on live in 1.65 , but in here it does not seem to matter at all.

Just a little follow up, hit over a 100 times now, not a single arrow blocked.
