Currently you can see 8 vault hookpoints and put down 8 vaults. The cap for vaults in a mansion is 4.

I'm not 100% sure if you should have 8 vault hookpoints or only 4, or if there is 8 hookpoints for flexibility.. unable to find the answer searching.
