2 sec spell interrupt when blade drawn but not in combat

So my group mate pulls a mob and start hitting melee range.
I only target the group mate to heal him. by mistake I press a style macro and right the same sec press the heal macro.
2 sec interrupt timer is started.
I did not take any damage.
I did not inflict any damage.

I try doing it close range and long range.
Close range I get the interruption, long range I don't get it.

Okay, so the edit function does not work here. basically. this bug is present when no enemy is present too.
