Can create a Character but can't log in

Today I downloaded everything with a friends help who is playing as well.
DAOC, from your site, Phoenix Launcher, then degraded and so on.
I can create a character but when I try to log in the application says "no response".
No chance to log into the world.
Can you tell me what coukl be wrong? (Firewall shut down already tested)

There are certain class and race combinations that are not allowed on Phoenix. You can only make and use SI classes/races.

I think he said he can create the character.
Does the char exist?

Yes i can See the character. And when I try to log in, the client Crashes. Ist version 1.126b the right version to play with?

Running a custom UI? ... if it doesnt work for the version it will crash the client

Hi!
1.125d is the version you want to be running. 1.126 is what is running on Live.
Look in your DAOC installation directory and run phoenixfixer.exe and click the downgrade button, then restart.
