Two Players over same internet connection possible?

i was reading the rules and found out that multiaccount is forbidden and i am absolutely ok with. my question is: i live together with a friend, is it possible that my friend and me getting banned if we play at the same time? two accounts over one internet connection.

I don't know how their ban procedure works, and they won't really tell us I guess...

but if you and your friend actually play each then I don't think that's a problem.

Neither one of you should be afk long while grouped with/buffing the other or anything that looks like you are multi accounting/buffbotting

I've always played DAOC with my spouse, and years ago, my son. Never an issue. As another poster noted, just don't do prolonged AFKs, etc or things that look like dual log or buff bot.

would be nice for an officiall answer. we played on uthgard for about 2 months and there was no problem with it and the uthgard devs stated if we are actual two players that would be ok and if something is not clear we will be whispered ingame to proof it. at the public start of the phoenix server we will be 3 irl friends who play together and two of us live in the same house. if devs need any proof we will be happily do everything to provide it. we are from germany so please dont judge my english =)

Basically what everyone else said. If they aren't sure they might test you in some way to make sure you're two people at two computers. So if you are two people, nothing to worry about.

If there is any suspicion, the devs will test you, but I have played with my wife for months.

Yeah I have a friend I am going to be playing with, he likes playing buff classes and isn't very talkative.

likely they can tell if you are from same pc and if from different pc, then they will test if it looks like boting.

You'll have no problems here! Welcome, and enjoy your stay. The only caveat that I want to point out is that if you or your friends need to AFK longer than 5 minutes, please log out from the game.
