Zerker vs. Savage

Hi all,
i have a low RR zerker (Troll) and was kind of disappointed by the damage i deal in lvl50-rvr (the zerker has a good template).
Now in the event i play a savage (lvl 14 now) and i am really excited about the dmg. Does that scale well into lvl 50 rvr or is the dmg comparable to the zerker later?
With other words, is it worth to lvl and temp the savage to get more DPS compared with zerker?

Both are fine dps wise, although Savages offer more lethal spikes and are therefore unpredictable for enemy healers. If you like the savages positionals and managing the chants, it is surely worth leveling and templating.

One thing to consider is that savages h2h count as a 1h weapon so anything with guard on it will not drop.

Zerks will cut that defense down and can get through it
